‘There are so many web sites offering services to Villa owners and holiday seekers that it is becoming increasingly difficult to choose between them. This site is different because it specialises on ‘sea view holiday villas' or ‘ocean view holiday villas' and aims to simplify the whole process of letting or finding a suitable villa. We also intend to keep the maximum number of villas per country / region to about 50 to avoid those endless lists of villas you get on the big sites. The number of villas in Spain will have to be a little higher because the area is so very popular. But by focusing on the ‘villas in Spain ' that have the really special views, we can still keep the numbers sensible. The overall target number of ‘ocean view holiday villas' on the main site is 500.

Ocean View Villas is being developed by David Maynerd and Paul Keir, David has owned and successfully let his villa in the Costa Blanca, Spain for over 15 years and Paul owns his own very successful Web Design company called 'Web People'. By combining these two specific skills we hope to become one of the best 'holiday villa web sites' on the internet.

David, having let his villa in Spain all these years feels there are four areas where he could use some help:

1. To reduce the number of wasted calls received from potential clients enquiring about Summer weeks which have been fully booked for several months.
2. To reduce the amount of brochures which need to be sent out without any loss of bookings and at the same time increase the speed at which the information reaches the client.
3. To be able to book more 'off peak' weeks during the year.
4. To share views, hints and tips about all aspects of Villa renting with other owners

Hopefully some or all of those will strike a chord with other villa owners.

This is our 'wish list' as a holiday seeker:

1. To be able to quickly shortlist quality ‘ocean view holiday villas' or ‘sea view holiday villas' which are available for certain dates, thus avoiding countless wasted phone calls.
2. To be able to do intelligent searches for 'key facilities' to save time looking through endless villa details.
3. To be able get all the detailed information for villas that fit requirements over the internet.
4. To have ‘booking forms' available ‘on line' for holiday seekers to use for email and hardcopies to speed up the ‘confirmation of booking' process.

Recently we have bought new domains for each country which we currently have ocean view holiday villas / sea view holiday villas advertising in this style:

We have done this for two reasons, one because most sea view holiday villa seekers already know which country they want to go to and therefore can go straight to a smaller simpler web site and two because we hope the more specific web address will make it easier for holiday seekers to find us.
