Picturesque
Nerja is a lovely Andalucian coastal town, set against a backdrop
of the spectacular Sierra de Almitara mountains. Less developed
than the coast's other resorts, this typically Spanish town is very
interesting to explore, with its quaint bars, excellent restaurants
and wide range of shops and boutiques to discover. In the centre,
the Balcon de Europa square offers stunning views of the coast and
its attractive sandy beaches.
Regarded as
the most attractive, well kept resort on the Costa del Sol, and
considered to have the best all year round climate in Europe,
Nerja is a delightful and unspoiled seaside town, which lies east
Malaga. The area is one of outstanding beauty, with a tropical valley
where avocado and olive trees grow in abundance and a dramatic back
drop of the majestic Sierra Almijara mountain range.

To explore
the surrounding countryside is a delight. You will discover
unspoiled picturesque villages where nobody hurries, and traditional
farming methods are still in evidence; with ploughs drawn by
bullocks, farmers travelling on the back of a contented donkey,
and elderly gentlemen sitting in groups under the shade of a
large tree, while their wives paint the outside of the pretty
white houses. |

winding streets, where you will discover interesting courtyards,
colourful shops, street side cafe's and small tranquil areas
shaded by orange trees and pagodas covered in sub-tropical shrubs
and flowers, which is an ideal place to rest and watch the world
